How do I train? *

Personal trainer assisting client with assessment for fascia work and mobility training exercises.

Assessment

Assessments can be eye-opening rather than scary. As I train to be a structural integration practitioner (SI), I use my knowledge of body reading, fascial lines, and mobility checks to understand you better. Your body reacts to life, trauma, sport, work, and family by protecting itself and adjusting in certain areas. I can find movements that need focus to help you avoid or recover from injuries, boost your body awareness, and build confidence. From there, I can create a plan that works with your strength routine to improve your movement patterns and posture, keeping you as flexible as a lizard! Assessments are available individually, but they come as standard for anyone training with me in person.

121 Training

121 is a great way to ensure you meet your body's needs while enjoying what you love. I can help you get stronger and improve your movement so you won't grunt while tying your shoes! Whether you’re preparing for a competition or have specific goals, we can create a plan together. I’ll guide you on the right movements and effort level to achieve your aims, all while providing friendly support!

I have experience in various strength areas, including strongman, as well as endurance training. I particularly enjoy using Bulgarian bags, Indian clubs, Persian meels, Sang shields, and yoga in my sessions. With my knowledge of strength training and injury rehab, I can help you build resilience through improved movement patterns. I do fascial bodywork on a number of my clients as well, in order to develop more efficient postures, recover from niggles and build on their body awareness. A number of people see me specifically for this kind of hands on work.

Group Sessions

Pride in Strength workshops happen every month. They’re queer strongman workshops and competitions. We discover different events in 3 hour workshops and have loads of fun doing it! Then every September I host the Queerstrong competitions…always so much fun! You can see all the info and find out about upcoming events HERE

If you’d like to try Bulgarian bags out in a fun group setting, I run free bag club sessions every Friday morning 9am at the Temple. We develop strength, endurance and speed together in order to develop our abilities at the Suples Bulgarian bag championship workout. Each session is half an hour but absolutely brutal! If you’re interested in either of the above then just get in touch via my contact page or the button below. We ran our first Bulgarian bag championship at the gym in October 2025 and we plan to do many more!

Myself and Alex Strambanu also run regular workshops and 4 week courses on the Indian clubs and Persian meels. They’re so technical but great fun and phenomenal for your mobility!

If you’re interested in any of the above, or have questions then just get in touch via my contact page or the button below.
